I was very lucky and, through my whole life, I dont get sick to much. That said, I do remember renting Ducktales when I was a kid and spending all weekend playing it.

When I was sick as a kid I would spend the day at Grandma and Grandpa's house (both parents worked). No video games, but I would get to to watch The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, which was a treat because we didn't have cable TV growing up. Actually, I'm sure I brought my Gameboy sometimes, I just don't remember.

Good stuff man. My go to when I was sick was usually sports games as I am a sports nerd. Man I remember playing so many seasons on Super Tecmo Bowl, NBA Live ##, Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, Baseball Simulator 1.000, Madden, etc... To me these games were chill and never raised my blood pressure.

I'm glad you're speaking out your mind. Although i enjoyed some games from this list, I know what it's like forcing yourself to beat a game the majority considers a must play. Life's too short to attmept to enjoy things others tell you to like even if you don't.

When I was sick as a kid, I would binge watch the Star Wars trilogy over and over. That's right, the TRILLOGY! When I was a kid, there were ONLY 3! On VHS no less! I usually feel asleep during different parts each time, so it didn't matter.

Great choices! I remember playing castlevania 2 a lot when I was sick as a 5 or 6 year old. With tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and Nintendo Power to keep me at it.

Been waiting for someone to post video games played when sick! i have all my long play RPG games ready to go! i feel i can beat any sickness because of how excited i get as i have all the time in the world to play Video Games! In the 90s Mario Party 64 was a game i had thinking Mario wants me to drink now. Boy did we turn that game into a drinking game! Didn't end well after time we got kicked out of our rental, i lost my job & got a dumb DUi. Learned my lesson, bounced back & sobered up. Now the only bad thing i do is eat Twinkies while playing Resident Evil 4.

My parent’s mantra was if you’re too sick to go to school then you’re too sick for video games. But I do remember being able to play games after I had my wisdom teeth out and when I broke my arm. For the wisdom teeth it was Zelda 2, for breaking my arm it was Mickey Mouse Escapade.

My Teacher is an Alien was based off a book. I believe the sequel was My Teacher Fried My Brains. My deceased brother-in-law collected all those old 90s youth books.

Dude, I completed Mario Party when it was new. My younger brother and I would spend hours grinding maps to get stars and coins.

Those Microsoft Flight Simulators were the only games my dad ever played. He wanted to get his pilots license for decades, but he was on antidepressants so he was denied. Now that they’re allowed, he has too many other health issues to try again.

I only ever played the first Roller Coaster Tycoon, and I put dozens of hours into it. And I still hate roller coasters.

My friend Stubby got banned from WoW. After Michael Jackson died he made an Undead priest named MJ and went around asking where all the little boys were.

I had no idea Busytown had a video game! One of my favorite childhood memories was watching the cartoon on Summer mornings. Or when I was sick.

The mini games in Mario Party also burned holes in my palms. I was unreal at any of the rhythm or rapid tap games. I thought I could get through *everything* on hard mode and my biggest memory was the tug of war Bowser game, as I blistered, broke and burned through my palm trying to not lose lol

i'm not embarrassed to have it, but my kids hate it when i play it & to make matters worse i only play it when there teenage friends are over. That is "Race with Ryan" on the PS4. i enjoy racing games & this one isn't that challenging, but since my kids hate when i play it...i play it a lot. Probably more than i should! Ha-Ha! Ever since i watched "Zombieland" i can not play Zombie games without wanting a dang Twinkie. i tried not playing for awhile & went back to it, but...i still want a damn Twinkie. i guess eating a Twinkie & playing zombie video games are a thing now.

I'm truly sorry you're having the health issues you've been having over the time I've been watching your channel. That's just tough. You trying to take care of yourself and your family. Trying to do what you love to do. And not be sicker than f****** hell along the way! But, here's my six story with a video game connection. When I have the chickenpox. The war games came out for colecovision. My mom had bought that for me not it's a mediocre game by today's standards I was relatively happy with it I guess it doesn't stand this test of time now. Global thermonuclear war? Only in our bodies cuz we're so damn sick!

Torin's Passage is a game I played at a friend's house, always forget the name and then re-look it up and then forget it all over again LOL

When I was sick, I couldn't focus enough to play anything. Although I do seem to remember firing up Populous and Starcraft during the "you look like you are feeling better so be prepared to go back to school tomorrow" phase
